There are a few predictable times for barefoot shoe sales, and end of summer is one of them. Barefoot shoe brands are clearing out summer stock to make way for cold-weather styles, kid’s styles are going on sale for back-to-school, and to top it all off, many US-based brands have Labor Day sales in early September. It’s a great time to grab a pair of sandals or sneakers. 

Some brands even have their fall and winter styles discount to promote their initial launch.

For the best selection, shop early! For most of these sales, once they’re gone, they’re gone til next year.

Barefoot Shoe End of Summer Sales 

These are all the currently active barefoot shoes sales for the end of summer and Labor Day.

Lems Shoes

During the Lems Labor Day Sale, all in-stock styles are 20% off. This includes popular boots styles, like the newer Boulder Summit Boots and Chelsea Boots. Find a full Lems brand review with details on each style and fit and sizing tips here. Sale ends September 5.

Feelgrounds 

20% off most of Feelgrounds’ most popular sneaker styles. Sale starts August 8 (or get early access on August 7 if you’re signed up for their mailing list).  Sale goes through early September.

Xero Shoes

New fall releases at Xero Shoes are on sale for 20% off through September 5. This includes several new styles, like the Ridgeway hiking boots and the Nexus tennis shoes with a sock-like upper. It also includes updates on some favorites, including a waterproof version of the Mesa Trail and an upgraded Speed Force.

Altra Running

Labor Day sale with up to 40% off select styles. Sale through 9/4. 

Shamma Sandals

All adult sandals are 15% off in Shamma Sandal’s Labor Day Sale. Runs August 24 – September 5.

Ten Little Shoes

Barebarics

BeLenka’s sister brand Barebarics is also included in the big summer sale. These are a great option for those that prefer a little more cushion, or are going for the chunky sneaker vibe. Wildling Summer Sale

Wildling shoes are 30% off starting August 25 through Monday, August 28 at 8am CET. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a discount this big at Wildling. They’re clearing out space in their warehouse for fall and winter models, so save on summer models, their essentials line and last chance models. Freet Shoes

While holiday sales may not be as heavily focused on the actual days of Black Friday and Cyber Monday anymore, many barefoot shoe companies still hold holiday sales around this time. It’s a great time to shop and save, especially if you’ve been holding out for a better deal on a pair of barefoot shoes.

A number of barefoot brands tend not to have large holiday sales as they try to have a consistent, sustainable business model. That’s not to say they never have sales, but they just don’t tend to align with holidays. For example, BeLenka’s and Mukishoes sales were on pre-orders at the beginning of the winter season, and then often times discount for winter items at the end of the season.
